Basic Introduction

PC-Max® 2000i is a new product in our Polycrystalline Wool (PCW) lining series. Composed entirely of fibrous materials, PC-Max 2000i is designed to meet the demanding application requirements of today's challenging emissions control systems.

PC-Max 2000i is manufactured using needled Fiberfrax® polycrystalline sol-gel fibers (PCW), which have been proven to deliver long-lasting, high-level performance across a wide temperature range—from room temperature up to 1000°C inlet gas temperatures. In addition to excellent thermal stability, PC-Max 2000i maintains superb performance even when exposed to condensates, water, or urea in certain application environments.

PC-Max 2000i boasts exceptional flexibility and workability, improving production environments while enhancing comfort. This lining is also adaptable to various sealing methods. It features outstanding resistance to scour erosion, eliminating the need for metal retaining rings or other edge-protection materials.

PC-Max 2000i delivers superior solutions for challenging applications, such as close-coupled thin-wall converters and large diesel particulate filters. Additionally, it is suitable for a wide range of emissions control system equipment, including diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs), selective catalytic reduction systems (SCRs), and tight-coupled converters (for gasoline, diesel, or other fuels).
