Product Overview
CC-Max®4 HP lining is made of a revolutionary non-expandable fiber material, providing high-performance fixation for ceramic catalyst carriers in catalytic converters while also serving as an exhaust sealing gasket with high-temperature thermal protection. As a professional manufacturer of refractory ceramic fibers, we have successfully utilized hot pressing technology and advanced processing techniques to develop a superior non-expandable lining product.
Prior to CC-Max 4 HP lining, non-expandable thermal insulation linings were manufactured using high-alumina fibers produced through sol-gel processes. These sol-gel fibers were considered crucial for providing sufficient carrier fixation in such non-expandable lining systems. Through melt processing, we successfully developed a high-performance proprietary fiber.
This proprietary fiber is processed into flexible mat products, resulting in the CC-Max 4 HP lining. The fiber exhibits excellent thermal stability, maintaining controllable fixation force for carriers across a wide temperature range up to 1250°C (inlet gas temperature).
CC-Max 4 HP can also be used in temperature-limited applications where traditional expandable linings are unsuitable, such as in diesel oxidation catalysts and particulate traps. In many applications, exhaust temperatures may be insufficient to activate vermiculite's expansion properties for adequate carrier fixation. Below vermiculite's expansion temperature, CC-Max 4 HP's elastic fiber matrix maintains constant pressure on the substrate. Similarly, due to its unique properties, CC-Max 4 HP retains its elasticity and carrier fixation capability even when expansion systems begin failing at high temperatures.
