Shandong Luyang Energy-saving Materials Co., Ltd. was established in 1984 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2006. It is a Sino-foreign joint venture integrating the research and development, manufacturing, and sales of energy-saving and environmental protection materials such as ceramic fibers, aluminum oxide fibers, soluble fibers, lightweight refractory bricks, and filter materials. It is a globally renowned ceramic fiber manufacturing base, a Chinese expert in inorganic fiber materials, a national manufacturing champion demonstration enterprise, an industry national standard drafting unit, a national key high-tech enterprise under the Torch Plan, a national new materials industrialization backbone enterprise, and a national contract-abiding and credit-worthy enterprise.
The company has a nationally recognized enterprise technology center, a nationally accredited laboratory, a post-doctoral research workstation, and the Shandong Ceramic Fiber Engineering Technology Research Center. It holds 381 patents and 61 technological achievements. It is a collaborative unit of the national 863 Plan. Four products independently developed by the company, including ceramic fiber building insulation boards and ceramic fiber composite modules, have been recognized as "national key new products."
The company has an annual production capacity of 590,000 tons of various ceramic fiber products.
