Product Overview
Insulfrax LTX is the newest addition to the Insulfrax family. LTX offers the same benefits as previous insulation blankets, but with enhanced physical properties for improved insulation performance and workability. These lightweight needle-punched blankets combine innovative patented technology with the proven performance of Insulfrax to create our best-in-class low-bioresidue Insulfrax insulation blankets yet. Made from alkaline earth silicate (AES) fibers, Insulfrax LTX insulation blankets provide effective solutions for a variety of thermal management challenges.
The new Insulfrax LTX product can help customers reduce costs. The enhanced performance of LTX fiber helps businesses lower their energy costs and meet increasingly stringent carbon emission targets without increasing the required insulation material. Additionally, customers can save on material costs by using less insulation to achieve the same performance as regular AES blankets. Customers can save money by reducing the backing thickness by 25% and free up valuable space in furnaces and ovens.
Insulfrax LTX insulation blankets are completely inorganic and binder-free, offering a smoother surface finish. They maintain their strength, flexibility, and insulating properties in a wide range of work environments without generating fumes or hazardous gases. Furthermore, these blankets produce less dust, making handling and cutting easier, leading to faster installation and, in some cases, less material waste. LTX blankets also feature a special printing on the surface, making installation tracking and inspection easier in the field or at the fabrication shop.
Insulfrax LTX insulation blankets are available in a variety of density and thickness combinations for a wide range of applications, and are particularly well-suited for high-temperature gaskets, packaging materials, and heat shields.
